Dr. Todd Duffy is a 1997 graduate from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of an internship and residency at the Animal Emergency Center and Referral Services in Milwaukee, WI, he passed the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Board Exam in 2004. In addition to practicing in several large referral and emergency hospitals, Dr. Duffy remains active with manuscript reviews, lecturing and has been a contributor to the RECOVER CPR guidelines. Dr. Duffy has special interests in pain management, fluid therapy, coagulation, minimally-invasive procedures, antibiotic stewardship, patient safety as well as analgesia and managing anesthesia for critical patients. He currently works for Aratana Therapeutics.
